Turkey’s policy of rapprochement to Armenia in recent years does not find a respond as we expect.

The main reason for this, is Armenians’ megalomania because of thinking that they are a great nation like Jews and Greeks and that they give a shape to the civilization of World.

And therefore, such an approach creates difficulties for being able to see real and politic truths.

They evaluate Armenia visit of Turkish President Gul not as a Turkish initiative, but an initiative that Turkey had to make due to U.S. pressure.

Russian Komsomolskaya Pravda columnist Darya Aslamova wrote that she did not realize much change in the politics and life in Armenia when she visited Armenia again after 20 years. She wrote,

“I still remember our conversation with an Armenian. The drunk Armenian i was talking to was claiming that Jesus Christ was a nationalist Armenian. I told him that Jesus is Jewish and his father is God. Afterwards he told me that God is an Armenian. When i visit Armenia after 20 years, i realized that not much thing changed in Armenia.”And Aslamova continues…

“Armenia still keeps its arrogance despite heavy economical and political crisis in act. Armenians still mention „Great Armenia“ and claim that they are different from other nations and they were created differently. They define theirselves as an elite nation like Jewish people do and they come with genocide allegations. Armenian lobbies succeeded to pass resolutions that recognizes genocide but they could not make Turkey to pay moral or material compensation.”

According to former Defence Minister of Armenia, Vatarshak Arutyunyan, talks between Turkey and Armenia is not being held by the own will of parties. He says,

“These talks are being held because United States wants. Armenian politicians tracked speech of U.S. President Obama during his visit to Turkey, carefully. Obama stated that Turkey is strategical partner of United States and it should be efficient in Caucasus. Former Armenian minister stresses that United States aims to extract Russian forces from Caucasus.”

According to Head of Armenian Globalization Center Stepan Grigoryan, Russia tolerates rapprochement between Turkey and Armenia for weakening Georgia. He says

“Russian officials started to think that Armenia is being a burden for Russia and Caucasus policies of Russia should be established on Azerbaijan which has rich natural resources. But they know that Azerbaijan will never abandon its relations with Turkey, and therefore they are keeping a policy that is at the same distance to Azerbaijan and Armenia. They cannot abandon Armenia which is isolated by Turkey and Azerbaijan, and at the same time they can not give full support to them.

Evaluations of Dashnak leader Oganesyan show that how Armenians exaggerate their position. Oganesyan claims that United States wants to keep Armenia on its side becuase of the developments in Afghanistan. And he claims that Armenia is strategically more important for United States.Armenians will not get any better, because their way of thinking remain. They underestimates us, and they form obstacles for the resolution as they are spoiled by Western lobbies. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s statement after watching military exercise, “The war for Nagorno-Karabakh is not over yet,” shows that balances may change in Caucasus. We wonder if there is another war waiting at the door of Caucasus, which would be bigger then the last one in Georgia? We wonder that if this could be the reason of the dispute that is created between Turkish military and government.
