![]() It is reported that Azerbaijan and Armenia have came to an agreement on the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Nezavisimaya Gazeta’s ethnic Armenian journalist Yuri Simonyan analysed the probable results of the next meeting between Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian President Serzh Sarksyan. Simonyan stated that Yerevan avoids to admit that Azerbaijani-Armenian negotations made significant progress recently. Armenian journalist wrote that Armenia has accepted to withdraw from the seven surrounding regions around Nagorno-Karabakh. Stressing that opening of Turkey borders is vital for Armenia, Simonyan wrote that Armenia would even agree to solve Nagorno-Karabakh problem within the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. Reminding that the date for the next meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian Presidents is not yet certain, Simonyan said that EU officials want to attend the meeting. |
