Assigning a Turkish student, Mustafa Dogan with a homework about so called Armenian genocide, and forcing the student preparing the homeworkbasing on Armenian allegations on 1915 events, French school in Nancy canceled the homework following the reactions of Turkey, Turkish organizations and Turkish media.

Mustafa’s father had a meeting with schoolmaster yesterday. Following the meeting he said that the meeting was positive and the issue is solved. Turkish student will not have to do the homework as he apologized for the statement, “Even if there was a genocide, they deserved that.”

Mustafa’s teacher asked a question in written exam on 1915 events and Mustafa, who previously argued with the teacher about this issue wrote that Armenians deserved that even if such thing had happened. Afterwards Dogan’s teacher assigned Turkish student with a homework about so called Armenian genocide, and forced the student to prepare the homework in accordance with Armenian allegations on 1915 events. He was told to not to use Turkish websites and to use Wikipedia.

French Parliament adopted so called Armenian genocide with a resolution in 2001, on the other the Parliament has not passed any resolution that penalizes denial of Armenian allegations on 1915 events.
