![]() European Union’s news channel Euronews claimed that Armenia will soon withdraw its military forces from 5 regions of Azerbaijan. Euronews reported that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian President Serzh Sarksyan discussed on an agreement about withdrawal of Armenian forces from five of seven regions surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh. Speaking to Euronews, a diplomat stated that Azerbaijani and Armenian leaders negotiated on an agreement that will form a basis for theprocess of resettlement of Nagorno-Karabakh problem. According to the report, two leaders made significant progress although they could not achieve any results. Aliyev and Sarksyan agreed on withdrawal of Armenia from occupied landes of Azerbaijan on a large scale. According to the agreement, Armenia will withdraw its forces from 5 of 7 regions surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh. But the occupation in Nagorno-Karabakh and two regions that connect Nagorno-Karabakh to Armenia will continue. The status of Nagorno-Karabakh will be determined by a referendum. ARMENIA FIRE KILLS AN AZERBAIJANI CIVILIAN It is reported that an Azerbaijaniciviliam perished as a result of the violation of ceasefire by Armenian soldiers in Karabakh frontline. It is reported that an Azerbaijani civilian that lives in Tapgaragoyunlu village in Goranboy region, Saday Kahramanov lost his life as a result of violation of ceasefire by Armenian military forces. According to the report of Azerbaijani ANS Television, Azerbaijani citizen wounded as a result of Armenian fire. Kahramanov lost his life on the way to hospital. Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence has not yet made any statement about the issue. |
