It is reported that the future of Nagorno-Karabakh will have important effects on Turkey’s role in the Caucasus and Turkey’s EU membership.

English Daily Telegraph newspaper wrote that the future of Nagorno-Karabakh will have important effects on Turkey’s role in the Caucasus and Turkey’s EU membership.

In a report titled “Nagorno-Karabakh: danger in Caucasus,” Daily Telegraph wrote that the future of Nagorno-Karabakh will also affect natural gaseous transfer to west and Armenia’s bad economy.

Establishing similarities between Nagorno-Karabakh and Schleswig-Holstein problem, English newspaper reminded that Schleswig-Holstein issue caused three wars in 19th century.

Reminding that the problem in South Caucasus was let slide for long years, the newspaper wrote that Azerbaijani and Armenian leaders met on November 22 in Munchen. “The meeting between two leaders contributed the acceleration of the process of rapprochement between Turkey and Armenia,” wrote Daily Telegraph.

Stressing that establishment of diplomatic relations and opening of borders between Turkey and Armenia is dependent on resolution of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, newspaper wrote, “The future of Nagorno Karabakh will affect Turkey’s role in Caucasus and therefore Turkey’s EU membership, natural gas transfer to West and Armenia’s
