The statements of the Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian once again confirm the insincerity of the Armenian side in the negotiation process on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
The statement came from spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Elman Abdullayev, commenting on statements by the Armenian Foreign Minister on the so-called "Democratic elections in Nagorno Karabakh," which in reality is illegal and causes damage to the negotiations conducted under the mediation of the OSCE Minsk Group.
According to him, such defamatory statements raise doubts about the veracity of the representations of the Armenian side of the constructive position it allegedly occupies in the negotiations.
"Such provisions are inconsistent with the position that the Armenian side demonstrates at the negotiation table. In other words, table the Armenian side says one thing at the negotiation table and does completely opposite to the statement", Abdullayev said.
According E.Abdullayev, Armenia is ready even to distort international law for populist ideas.
"The lack of sincerity in the Armenian side, as well as the pragmatic and constructive approach to resolving the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict is the reason for protraction of the negotiations, as well as securing the status quo, which casts doubt on the approach of Armenia to resolve the conflict", the spokesman noted again.
