Armenia’s Eurovision participation not completely coordinated with European broadcasters.
“Nothing is clear yet. Serious talks are held with the European Broadcasting Union and international organizations, responsible for the contest, about the security guarantees”, she said.
Gasparyan noted that not only Eurovision organizers but also representatives of the host-country must guarantee the security of Armenian participants. “These must be serious guarantees”, she said.
She also dismissed reports about potential candidates from Armenia. “First it is necessary to decide about participation and then about whom to send there” she added.
Gasparyan said the issue of Armenia’s participation in Eurovision-2012 has not yet been completed settled with European broadcasters.
