Fixing its mistake, Magic Jack, America’s popular phone equipment firm, which enables its users to make internet phone calls to almost any country throughout the World, re-listed Nagorno-Karabakh under Azerbaijan, instead of Armenia in its International Rates, APA’s Washington DC correspondent was informed by the company.
“That was just a misunderstanding”, said a Magic Jack representative.
On its updated webpage the company indicated Nagorno-Karabakh under the code/prefix number 37447, which costs $0.33 per minute for the customers (https://web05.magicjack.com/my/international/)
Last week, the Azeri Diaspora sent dozens of the letters to the Magic Jack, reminding the company that the Nagorno-Karabakh region has been and is recognized as de jure part of Azerbaijan by four UN Security Council resolutions, several UN GA resolutions, as well as the State Department, thus the company should fix its mistake.
In the meanwhile, there is another mistake in the current list of company. Nagorno-Karabakh is indicated as a republic. The Azeri Diaspora is going to let the company know about it, Diaspora members told APA.
