A Turkish shepherd Mehmet Alioghlu, 48, from the Kars Province approached to the Armenian-Turkish border and stepped on the mine.
Alioghlu was breeding his sheep in the Arpachay region, Turkish Posta reports. But the sheep run in the direction of the Armenian border when it rained.
On trying catching his sheep he appeared in the mine field. Mehmet was injured and taken to hospital.
