UNICEF Representative Condemns Armenians For Killing Of Two Azerbaijani Children

9-year-old Fariz Badalov was killed as a result of fire opened by sniper by the Armenian armed forces in May this year.

UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF) representative in Azerbaijan Mark Hereward condemned Armenians for killing of two Azerbaijani children, APA reports: “On behalf of UNICEF representation in Azerbaijan, we condemn such death cases and express our disappointment, because it is a very great tragedy that the death of child occurred as a result of violence.

That’s why we keenly condemn it”, Hereward told journalists.

9-year-old Fariz Badalov was killed as a result of fire opened by sniper by the Armenian armed forces in May this year. Shahmaliyeva Aygun Zireddin, 13, was killed, her mother Shahmaliyeva Elnara Mammadtagi, 32, injured in the thigh on July 14 as the explosive device blasted in Tovuz region’s Alibeyli village that borders on Armenia. The toy resembling a dog with a built-in explosive device was floated down the Tovuz river by Armenians. Jafarov Elsever Hasan and Shahmaliyeva Aygun Zireddin found the toy and brought it to the house of Jafarov Hasan. While playing Shahmaliyeva threw the toy on the table, blast ocurred as a result of it.
