“Pakistan Hadn’t Created Any Relations With Armenia, Which Occupied Azerbaijani Lands”

Azerbaijani Defense Minister, Colonel-General Safar Abiyev received newly appointed ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Azerbaijan Inayatullah Kakar.

Press service of the Ministry told that the minister congratulated the ambassador on his appointment and informed about close relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan in various spheres. He noted that the cooperation with Pakistan, which was one of the first countries that recognized Azerbaijan’s independence, was continuing successfully at present moment: “The successes were achieved between our countries in the field of military cooperation”.

They also exchanged view on the situation in the region, Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict. Expressing the position of his country, the ambassador said that Pakistan had no relations with Armenia, which occupied Azerbaijani lands.
