We have a report, as well photo materials from first source that the grave of Dede Gordud is situated in the north of Derbent, in one of the rocks”, Director of the Institute of History of Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences Yagub Mahmudov told journalists, APA reports.
According to him, Dede Gorgud is a saint person for Azerbaijan and entire Turkic world: “Armenians offend to this holiness”.
The Armenians want to blast Dede Gorgud’s grave in Derbent. ANAS Institute of History sends many scientists to the conferences in Derbent for further deepening of researches owing to Dede Gorgud. We have engaged in scientific battles there and started to say our words”.
Mahmudov reminded that great statesman Aziz Aliyev saved Dagestan peoples from deportation: “The people, who is his child, is also living today. We will strengthen our relations with Dagestan. We will attack those will attack Dede Gordud’s grave”.
