Iran cannot act as a broker in the Nagorno-Karabakh peace talks, according to the US ambassador to Azerbaijan. The Azerbaijani news website SalamNews has quoted Matthew Bryza as saying that the conflicting parties – Armenia and Azerbaijan – favor the OSCE Minsk Group's efforts in the peace settlement deal. Appreciating both countries' efforts, the US diplomat ruled out any possibility of resorting to military operations.
