'Turkish Society To Provide Sharp Reaction Once Border Issue Raised Again'

Turkey-Azerbaijan relations have reached such a high level that no power can spoil these relations.

The statement came from Chairman of Azerbaijan-Belgium Friendship Society Ayhan Demirchi while commenting on the fact that Turkish President touched Nagorno-Karabakh issue in his address to the Turkish Parliament.

'The Turkish society has once again displayed its unified stance in Karabakh issue and the border issue with Armenia has been sent into archives of history. It is impossible to put this issue on agenda for the second time. There is ideological and political course “one nation, two states” on spotlight. The Turkish society will provide a sharp reaction in case someone deviates from this course,' Demirchi said.

The forces seeking to bring border issue into agenda again will fail, he added.

'Opening of borders and making any concession to Armenia in this respect before the Karabakh conflict is resolved can give political and moral power to Armenia. Armenia does not seem to abandon its occupational policies and any good treatment towards Armenia is nothing but a concession towards an occupier state,' Demirchi noted.
