'Unfortunately, Armenians are not involved in the activity of the PACE’s Subcommittee for Nagorno Karabakh.

The decisions of the Parliamentary Assembly must be respected,' President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Mevlut Cavusoglu told journalists.

Mevlut Cavusoglu said the aim of the Subcommittee for Nagorno Karabakh is to reduce the number of the problems in the area of human rights.

'Being the Bureau of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe we decided to reactivate the Subcommittee for Nagorno Karabakh, because the occupation of Azerbaijan’s creates problems in the area of human rights. There are one million refugees and internally displaced persons. Azerbaijan’s President does everything for them.

But the living standards of the refugees and internally displaced persons are not so easy. The internally displaced persons want to return home and they have got right. Therefore, we wanted PACE to hold a dialogue concerning it.

Unfortunately, our Armenian friends are not involved in the activity of the committee, while the decisions of the assembly must be respected. We must realize the decisions of PACE, so that the others also observe them,' he said.
