E-mail Print PDF

The Azeri and Turkish Diasporas in the US State of Virginia are standing together to achieve one more supporter in the important State position, by supporting their candidate for Clerk of the Court, APA reported. “Azeris who live here in Alexandria city of Virginia, will support Chris Marston against Armenian native Ed Semonian, who has been on the same job for more than 30 years”, the source mentioned. Challenger Chris Marston entered the contest last week in hopes of sharpening the office’s technological edge.

The Circuit Court is the highest trial level court with general jurisdiction in Virginia’s system.
The Clerk is critical to the efficient and effective administration of justice--criminal and civil--in Virginia’s Circuit Court, one of three local courts in each jurisdiction.
