Bagis: Zurich Protocols Are There, Where They Were Before

E-mail Print PDF

Zurich protocols, signed between Turkey and Armenia, may be again back on the agenda. This conclusion follows from the words of the Turkish Minister for EU Affairs Egemen Bagish. Answering APA’s question “what will be with the Turkish-Armenian protocols, which have been withdrawn from the agenda of the Turkish Parliament” the Minister said: "The Protocols have not disappeared. They are there, where they were”.

Turkish Minister also answering to question of APA about “Do European institutions continue appealing Turkey over the "normalization" of relations with Armenia, said: "OSCE Minsk Group deal with the peacekeeping process between Azerbaijan and Armenia. If Turkey sees progress in the process, then take the necessary steps. For this, first of all it is needed to end the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the liberation of Azerbaijani territories. To all appeals to Turkey on this issue, we respond the same way".
