The youth activists of Azeri and Turkish Diaspora Organizations in the US have started a rare campaign by urging the international media outlets to cover Armenia’s occupation of Azerbaijani lands, through the social networks, APA reported.
“Our campaign is based on volunteers and our goal is to achieve as much media stories as possible regarding the reality of Nagorno-Karabakh”, say the Turkish Diaspora members.

Some of the campaign members have already managed to involve the informational media’s attention.
“We’re receiving the answers from the main newspapers and TV channels that they’re pledging to cover this topic in the coming months”, he mentioned.

The tactic of the campaign is simple – the activists use their Facebook and Twitter accounts and send the short notes to the journalists ad their editors with the short story idea: “Armenia’s occupation of Azerbaijan”.

“This week, we have twitted some similar messages to the “Al Jazeera” and other media organizations”, the source added. “We’ll continue our pushing as long as we’ll get a result”.
