Azerbaijan: It Is Armenia's Turn To Demonstrate Political Will

Armenia's position in Nagorno-Karabakh talks, in general, has a negative effect on the region.

The statement came from spokesperson for the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Elman Abdullayev while commenting on remarks of Russian President Dmitriy Medvedev he made at the Moscow State University.

At a meeting with the youth Dmitriy Medvedev pledged that Moscow will continue to assist in resolving the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, but both nations should strive for consensus.

Abdullayev noted that Baku shows good faith to a sufficient degree and has reiterated that it supports peace talks.

'Now it is Armenia’s turn to demonstrate a political will. The world community needs to more strictly express its opinion to Armenia. This position of Armenia, in general, has a negative impact on the region.'
