Bill On Massacres in Karabakh Submitted To Swedish Parliament

E-mail Print PDF

The massacre in Karabakh has been discussed in the Swedish parliament.

Member of the Swedish parliament of Turk origin Mehmet Kaplan has developed a bill 'On massacres committed by Armenians in Karabakh.'

Kaplan has submitted the bill to the parliament despite efforts of the Armenian diaspora to prevent it. The MP has already secured consent of the Greens Party which he represents in the parliament.

In his remarks for media, Kaplan said it took him long time and much effort to develop this bill.

'One million people from Karabakh still live refugee lives. They should return Karabakh immediately. MPs of Turkish origin in other European parliaments should also work to get the massacres committed in Karabakh recognized. This is our duty to fraternal Azerbaijan.'
