It will boost Azerbaijan's standing on international arena in case it is elected non-permanent member of the UN Security Council.
The statement came from Chairman of the Azerbaijan-Turk Culture Center in the Netherlands Ilhan Askin while commenting on voting in the UN Security Council to elect non-permanent member.
'Being an active member of such an organization of global importance in international arena can only bring success to Azerbaijan. Baku is taking successful steps in this regard,' Askin said.
The Armenian lobby is seriously concerned over active policies and propaganda of Azerbaijan in international events, he added.
'Azerbaijan will not retreat from this path as international organizations are an additional platform to raise knowledge about the truth related to Azerbaijan. The process should last until false propaganda of Armenians is exposed,' Askin noted.
