Certain world countries, especially Armenia, have been conducting an anti-Turkish campaign since 2001, according to an Azerbaijani official.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the Second Media Forum of Turkic-Speaking Countries, Ali Hasanov, the head of the Social and Political Department at Azerbaijan's presidential office, complained of what he called a pressure on the country's international projects.
According to the Azerbaijani news website 1news.az, he also addressed the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, calling for a pan-Turkish assistance to his country's efforts.
"Taking into consideration all this, I am addressing the Turkic countries at today's meeting, asking them to raise Turkic nations' problems in their local media, as well as provide information on the development and culture of those countries," he said.
