Armenia’s President congratulates Turkish counterpart on National Day.
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan sent a congratulatory message to Turkish President Abdullah Gul, on the occasion of Turkey’s national holiday: the Republic Day, Presidential Press office informed.
Turkey’s Republic Day is celebrated on October 29, but, because of the devastating earthquake that hit the province of Van, on October 23, large-scale celebrations were not held.
