The US Embassy has expressed its attitude towards the visit to the occupied territories of Azerbaijan of senior fellow at American Foreign Policy Council for European and Eurasian Affairs Wayne Mery.

"This visit will not change Washington's policy in regard to Nagorno-Karabakh”, said spokesman for the U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan Keith Bean.

Wayne Mery who illegally visited the occupied territories of Azerbaijan on 14 November met with representatives of the separatist regime of Nagorno-Karabakh.
