MP Informs British Journalist About Karabakh Truth

British journalist Jackie Storer who is on a visit to Azerbaijan has met Deputy Ganira Pashayeva.

During the wide exchange of views, the MP provided the journalist with the broad information about the Karabakh conflict.

As a representative of one of the army divisions on the Armenian border, Pashayeva also informed the British journalist about such acts of vandalism as shooting of civilian Azerbaijanis and schoolchildren by the Armenian snipers, burning their cemeteries, murder of 13-year-old Aygun Shahmaliyeva with an explosive toy and killing of children as Fariz Badalov.

During the meeting Storer addressed his questions to the MP regarding women’s rights, role of women in the sociopolitical, socioeconomic life of the country, domestic violence and fight against early marriages, action to stop women trafficking and held a broad exchange of views in this direction.

MP Pashayeva provided information about steps taken by the parliament in this direction, as adopted laws, produced effect and pending issues.
