US Condemns Incidents At Line Of Contact

US is hopeful Karabakh conflict would find a peaceful and a fair resolution.

During official reopening of the children’s ward at Armenian capital Yerevan’s St. Gregory the Illuminator Medical Center, US Ambassador to Armenia John Heffern also reflected on the killing of two soldiers at the line of contact, on November 19 and 20, Hayots Ashkharh daily writes. 

“We condemn the incidents that occurred at the line of contact and express our condolence to families of the victims,” Heffern noted.

The US is hopeful the conflict would find a peaceful and a fair resolution.

“Any manifestation of violence is deplorable, and we wish to contribute to the problem’s peaceful settlement through the [OSCE (Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe)] Minsk Group process,” US Ambassador stated.
