E-mail Print PDF

Slovakian embassy in Russia issued a statement denying news reports on adoption of a draft law criminalizing denial of so called Armenian genocide, APA reported.

The embassy says: “The information was released in Armenian Mass medias (“Nouvelles d`Arménie”) and then in Russian Mass Medias (“Regnum” and etc.) on the adoption of draft law on criminalization of denial of Armenian genocide in Slovakia. As if it was said by Chairman of Slovakian Supreme Court Stefan Harabin. Slovakian embassy in Moscow officially denies this news. Such draft law has been never presented to Slovakian National Council (Parliament) and such document has never become effective.
