Armenian Defense Ministry’s Representatives In Turkey To Conduct Inspections

E-mail Print PDF

An inspection team of the Armenian Defense Ministry is in Turkey to conduct inspections under the Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe (CFE).

According to Mediamax Agency, the inspection team will work near the Turkish-Armenian border.

Armenian inspection teams twice worked in Turkey in 2010. In November 2010 Armenian servicemen inspected observance of the quantitative restrictions set by CFE on weapons and military equipment in the garrison in Dogubeyazıt.

In March 2010, a similar inspection was carried out in the garrisons in Sarikamis, Kars, Ardahan and Igdir. The inspections recorded no violation of the CFE Treaty.
