European Union assisted to organize a conference at French University in Armenia.
Acting chairman of the European Union delegation to Armenia Onno Simons spoke about the Nagorno Karabakh issue settlement during the conference.
“EU considers NK issue is one of the main problems. We assist OSCE MG in this issue. We consider inter-civilian meetings are very important to solve this issue. We also hold some actions to assist the refugees”, Onno Simons noted.
He also rated EU cooperation with Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia. According to him it is very important for the security.
“Armenia and EU have cooperated with each year since 2006, which intends cooperation not only in political, economical and finance spheres, but also for solving conflicts”, he noted.
This is the fifth conference which is organized in French University in Armenia and is financed by EU.
