Armenian leadership demonstrates its aggressive policy.
Comment of Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharian about holding the meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian communities of Nagorno-Karabakh cannot be assessed otherwise than as an attempt to prevent inter-communal dialogue as part of confidence-building measures, supported by the entire international community, including international organizations and countries co-chairing the OSCE.
The statement came from spokesman for the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elman Abdullayev.
On November 28, Berlin was to host a meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian communities of Nagorno-Karabakh. Representatives of the Armenian community ignored the event and did not arrive in Berlin.
Commenting on a meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian communities of Nagorno-Karabakh, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Kocharian said that "if official Baku is interested in organizing community dialogue, we should first take steps to organize the community dialogue between Armenians deported from Azerbaijan and living Azerbaijanis residing in Azerbaijan".
"Rather than focus their efforts on the creation of peace, at which the inter-community dialogue aims, the Armenian leadership in the face of Shavarsh Kocharian, do not hesitate to once again shows their true face, trying to block creation of conditions for dialogue", said Elman Abdullayev.
Peace in the region is for the benefit of all the people living there, including the Armenian and Azerbaijani communities of Nagorno-Karabakh, which is part of the Azerbaijan Republic, the spokesman for the Foreign Ministry of the country said.
According to him, by such inappropriate and disruptive statements, Armenian leadership demonstrates a "commitment" to continue its aggressive policy.
'I think that the world community understands that there is no other way of solving the Karabakh conflict rather than on basis of norms and principles of international law', Elman Abdullayev said.
