“UN Should Finally Voice Its Strict Attitude”

Since 1993-94, The UN has had four resolutions about the regulation of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

The statement came from head of the political analysis and information department at the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan, Elnur Aslanov while talking to journalists, Gun.Az reports.

Aslanov noted that implementation of the resolutions was been delayed for almost 17-18 years.

“The UN and its Security Council should finally voice its strict attitude. International organizations should put forward the legitimacy and increase influence on Armenia”.

The top official noted that as the foreign minister reported, Azerbaijan is ready to work on peace agreement.

“This is because Azerbaijan supports peaceful coexistence. Each and every person living in Nagorno-Karabakh is a citizen of Azerbaijan. Our country recognizes rights of all nations. Azerbaijan already thinks about the restoration of post-conflict areas and future of Nagorno-Karabakh and is ready to exchanges views on the basis of coexistence principles”.

Aslanov noted that Azerbaijan will never give up any portion of its lands and its principles.
