E-mail Print PDF

We condemn the interference of politicians in history.

The statement came from Turkish ambassador in Azerbaijan Hulusi Kilic. He was speaking at the news conference related to discussion in the French Senate of the bill envisaging responsibility for rejection of the ‘Armenian genocide’.

“Politicians should deal with policy and historians with history. History is written by historians”.
The diplomat noted that it will be impossible to mislead the world community and distort history.
“It is not right for other countries, including remote ones, to interfere with this issue”.
