“The events called as “Armenian genocide” should be researched and assessed by the historians”, spokesperson for the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs Elman Abdullayev told commenting on the draft law criminalizing the denial of “Armenian genocide” submitted to the French Senate.
“The turning of the parliamentarians in some countries into the hostage of Armenian lobby causes regret, and it doesn’t meet the interests of those countries”.
In early December, the MPs from the Union for a Popular Movement presented the draft law that considering the criminalization of denial of made-up “Armenian genocide” to the legislation commission of the French parliament. The voting on this draft law was scheduled to December 22.
