Next year the parliaments of several countries are expected to pass decisions condemning Nagorno Karabakh conflict and Armenia’s aggressive policy, vice-speaker of the parliament Bahar Muradova said.

Bahar Muradova said the recent decision passed by the parliament of Mexico is the achievement of Azerbaijan’s parliament diplomacy.

Bahar Muradova said the positive tendencies that started regarding Nagorno Karabakh early in 2011 were later failed.
“Despite this, 2011 is remembered as a year, during which the Nagorno Karabakh conflict was mostly discussed in all international organizations,” she said.

Bahar Muradova said though no positive result has been achieved in the solution of the conflict, it is in itself a progress that it is in the focus of the world agenda.

“Various international organizations pass various resolutions regarding this problem of Azerbaijan, the parliaments of various countries pass decisions on Nagorno Karabakh, especially Khojaly genocide,” Muradova said.

Vice-speaker underlined that there are legal procedures for appealing to the international courts regarding Khojaly genocide.

“Azerbaijan will appeal to the international courts at the proper time,” she said.
