Rzayev: French Parliament’s Decision Is A Political Immorality

E-mail Print PDF

“Once we reproached our colleague Shamil Gurbanov, who said some words about the French President Jacques Chirac,” parliamentarian Tahir Rzayev said.

The parliamentarian said the bill outlawing denial of the so-called “Armenian genocide” passed by the French National Assembly is impudence.

“The decision of the French National Assembly regarding the so-called “Armenian genocide” is a political immorality. It is disrespect for the citizens of France to recognize the events that did not happen, and to punish those denying it,” he said.

The parliamentarian said Azerbaijan must offer removal of France from the co-chairmanship of OSCE Minsk Group.
