“The decision of the French National Assembly is unacceptable for us.If they express position on events occurred hundred years ago, they should express position on Khojaly genocide, turning of one million of Azerbaijanis into refugees and IDPs”, said Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov.
Minister said that this decision didn’t serve anything except creating problems: “OSCE Minsk Group’s former French co-chair Bernard Fassier confessed the fact of occupation of Azerbaijani lands during his last visit to the region. Everybody should perceive and confess this fact”.
Mammadyarov also reminded that this decision was adopted by minority, about 10% of the French National Assembly.
