'Turkey Should Pursue More Active Policy In 'Genocide' Issue'

E-mail Print PDF

France is a top country supporting the Armenian issue.

The statement came from MP and former minister of Turkey Ahmet Kenan Tanrikulu, Gun.Az reports.

'France shows the very position in the Armenian issue. For years, we have showed a passive position in this regard. However, we should have pursued more active policy and diplomacy in this issue.

Merely to speak out against their actions in not the solution; we cannot defend ourselves by ‘you did, so we did either’. In ‘genocide’ issue, Turkey should pursue more active policy', the MP underlined.
