Large-Scale Military Activities In Karabakh Not Expected In 2012

In 2012, the frontline in Nagorno-Karabakh will have the same gloomy image – exchange of fire and deaths from sniper shots, political analyst of Menas Associates (London) center Alex Jackson considers.

According to Eurasianet, the expert thinks that Armenia and Azerbaijan are using drones in the frontline- “so we can expect that the conflict will get a new 'overhead form'.

'Exchange of fires, military exercises and increase of military budgets – they will have their own places again but large-scale military activities are not expected', Jackson considers.
