Armenian Armed Forces violated ceasefire 774 times in 2011. According to the results of the APA’s monitoring basing on the reports of Azerbaijani Defense Ministry, 19 Azerbaijanis were killed, 24 wounded as Armenian Army violated ceasefire.
15 of the killed persons were servicemen, 4 civilians. Two of the civilians are children. One civilian struck mine. 19 of the wounded persons were servicemen, 5 civilians. One of the civilians was wounded after he struck mine, one as Armenians floated a booby-trap toy down the river.
The ceasefire was violated most in September (119 times), March and May (80 times each month).
The ceasefire was violated 24 times in January, 56 times in February, 36 times in April, 69 times in June, 68 times in July, 69 times in August, 64 times in October, 49 times in November, 61 times in December (as of December 30).
The ceasefire was violated most in Fuzuli. Armenians violated ceasefire in this direction 228 times. The second region, where the ceasefire was violated most, is Aghdam (120), it is followed by Gazakh (103).
The ceasefire was violated 83 times in Terter, 65 times in Goranboy, 51 times in Khojavend, 43 times in Gedebey, 34 times in Jabrayil, 23 times in Tovuz, 10 times in Aghstafa, 8 times in Goygol, 6 times in Dashkesen.
The ceasefire was violated by Armenian Armed Forces 61 times on December 1-30. Two servicemen of the Azerbaijani Army were wounded. In December the ceasefire was violated 14 times in Fuzuli, 10 times in Goranboy, 10 times in Aghdam, 9 times in Khojavend, 9 times in Tovuz, 2 times in Gazakh, once in Jabrayil, once in Aghstafa.
