Davutoglu spoke about the text which was not stated during official signing of the Armenian-Turkish protocols.

During his regular meeting with Turkish ambassadors, Turkey’s FM Ahmet Davutoglu spoke about the text which was not stated during official signing of the Armenian-Turkish protocols, in Zurich in 2009.

Davutoglu noted that if he had delivered an address in Zurich, he would have said: ‘“I call upon you to not lean solely against  one-sided recollection. All recollection must be collected and put before conscience. History cannot be written by way of one-sided pain.’ This is what I was going to say. We respect the Armenians’ pain, but they should respect our pain, too,’” Ahmet Davutoglu said, Haberler news agency of Turkey reported.
