The France chairmanship in the Minsk Group may be discussed at the next gathering of the OSCE Minsk Group.
“Turkish President Abdullah Gul has proposed to discuss the issue of France’s participation in the European institutions, including OSCE, and OSCE Minsk Group. This issue is likely to be discussed at the next gathering of the Minsk Group”.
The statement came from chief of the public policy department of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan Ali Hasanov.
Commenting on the adoption of the bill criminalizing denial of the so-called ‘Armenian genocide’ in the French Parliament, A.Hasanov said that this is the means of using Armenians against Turks by some circles. He said this event is absurd on the foreground of the current development level of Europe.
“Fining and imprisonment of people for their thoughts in the center of Europe, in the country which determines the norms of public life of Europe go contrary to modern norms”, he said.
