U.S. based Turkish association Young Turks (Genç Türkler Derneği) will hold a protest in front of French Consulate General in New York on January 5, 2012.
“We cannot remain silent. France does not have right to accuse Turkey of commiting a genocide while it ignores the genocide it commited in Algeria,” the President of the association, Tulga Tekman said, “We expect members of Turkish community to join us”.
“We should be protecting Turkey’s rights in the international arena. We will always be in unity and solidarity,” said he.
