The parks of Azerbaijani-Mexican friendship and Khojaly genocide will be set in the Mexican capital this year.
There is a plan to build there a memorial symbolizing the friendship between the peoples of Azerbaijan and Mexico, as well as the memorial in memory of the victims of mass murder of Azerbaijani civilians of Khojaly by Armenian armed forces in February 1992.
The Senate of Mexico recognized the Khojaly tragedy as genocide in December of 2011.
