French Senate To Discuss Genocide Bill On 24 January

On January 24, the French Senate will discuss the draft law adopted by the Parliament’s lower chamber considering the criminalization of denial of made up “Armenian genocide”, “News.am” reported.

French National Assembly adopted the draft law considering the criminalization of denial of made up “Armenian genocide” on December 22, 2011. This step caused tension between Turkey and France.
