On 26 September the Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandyan has had a meeting with his Azeri counterpart Elmar Mamediarov in New York. The OSCE Minsk group co-chairmen Bernard Fassier (France), Mattew Bryza (USA), Yuri Merzliakov (Russia) and the personal representative of the OSCE President Andrzej Kasprzyk were present at the meeting.
According to the public relations department of the Foreign Ministry, the officials have discussed the NKR conflict and reaffirmed that the current issue should find a solutions through peaceful negotiations.
After the Foreign Ministers has had a separate discussion. The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Turkey have also had a meeting in New York.
