E-mail Print PDF

Despite Armenians’ objections, the subcommittee on Nagorno Karabakh of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe will continue its activity.

The statement came from MP and head of the Azerbaijani delegation in PACE Samad Seyidov.
He said Armenians have almost rejected the activity of this committee.
“However, this does not mean that the committee stopped functioning. On the contrary, it continues its activity and its functioning without Armenians gives us another argument that the reject their responsibility they assumed on the international level”, Seyidov said.
The subcommittee on Nagorno Karabakh was created on the basis of the report of British Deputy Lord Atkins in line with resolution No 1416 in 2005.
