'There were circles who do not acknowledge the potential of Turkey'.

With only days to go before the voting in the French senate on the bill making denial of the Armenian allegations on the 1915 incidents a crime, reaction to the bill from Turkey continues.

The European Union Minister Egemen Bagısh has said that there was one thing those aspiring to cast a shadow on Turkey did not know and added that they could not cover up the sun with slime.

Bagısh attended in Istanbul a meeting on artisans and civil society.

He criticized the bill approved by the French national assembly and said there were circles who do not acknowledge the potential of Turkey and they believed they could silence Turkey by casting a shadow on historical facts and some bills. He said further that so long as Turkey's people acted hand in hand, it would always be a powerful country.
