E-mail Print PDF

Haluk Ipek, Secretary General of the Justice and Development Party of Turkey, said that the Turkish Parliament will discuss recognition of the Khojaly Massacre this year, Trend reports.

Ipek emphasized that criminalization of denial of the Armenian Genocide in France is an act against Turkey and Azerbaijan. France has no right for such bill, small nations of the Caucasus, such as Armenians, reached their current stage with support and protection of the Ottoman Empire, the politician insists.

The Turkish official said that more sanctions are to come, including legal confrontation.
