The realization of the meeting between the Azerbaijani and Armenian presidents in Sochi at the initiative of the Russian president and adoption of the joint declaration is a positive event.
The issues reflected in the declaration indicate the diplomatic privilege of Azerbaijan.
MP Mubariz Gurbanli told the statement to the press, Gun.Azreported.
The MP noted that Armenia always wants to add the puppet Nagorno-Karabakh regime to declarations but this time is failed because of the diplomatic steps of Azerbaijan.
The majority of Armenian politicians think that Sargsyan lost diplomatically to the Azerbaijani president in the Sochi meeting, according to Gurbanli.
“Of course, this process is very complicated. The Azerbaijani side demonstrates sincerity while Armenia, inspired from foreign supports, shows non-constructiveness. Otherwise, Armenia cannot behave in this manner if it meets Azerbaijan privately, face-to-face.”
