UK envoy comments on Turkish-Armenian relations.
UK is ready to assist the initiative on convergence between Armenia and Turkey, newly appointed Ambassador Catherine Leach told journalist on Monday.
Asked about UK’s position on Turkey’s joining the EU, the diplomat recalled one of the main condition to join the Union is establishment of good relations with the neighboring states.
Thus, normalization of relations between Armenia and Turkey is among priorities of UK’s foreign policy.
